About

Every day I walk my dog and look about me and see what there is to see.  I feel that I have missed so much in life by trying to rush through to the next thing.  Walking my dog (and sometimes her best friend too), has given me time to enjoy the idiosyncrasies that can be found in nature.  I feel so lucky to live close to Wimbledon Common, a vast and voraciously wild place so wonderfully looked after by it’s very own “wobbles”, the park keepers.  It’s not the most stunning of places on earth, nor the most wild, but it’s here and it’s ours.  Anyone can enjoy it’s natural beauty.  Every day so many people enjoy the varied nature of the common and use it for so many different things.  There’s dog walkers, runners, cyclists, golfers, horse riders, picnickers.  It’s often a photo or film location and somewhere for commuters to merely walk across to get from A to B.  We are so very lucky to have this little piece of “countryside” so close to the city.  I am simply an amateur photographer who loves nature and loves watching the changing landscape through the seasons.  This is a simple homage to what I see every day.
